What’s best – the old way, or the new way? We find that sometimes the old way, sometimes the new is best, and sometimes a combination is best. Our solutions are based on performance, not on set ideas. Our logo reflects this concept by combining typographical elements (old) holding a collection of technology (new) together.

Our story goes back to Sydney in 2012 when Huw Humphreys founded The Blue Wrasse, which delivered website and graphic design services for small businesses. As the word spread, our client base grew, with growth driven by the word-of-mouth positivity.
With expansion, our suite became more comprehensive. After relocating to Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast in 2015, The Blue Wrasse evolved into Wrasse industries PTY LTD in 2020, and now offers a complete, integrated, outsourced marketing & communication solution.

About Huw Humphreys
Huw Humphreys is the director of Wrasse Industries, and principal designer. Huw has a BA in English and Media Studies (UQ, 2008), a Diploma in Graphic Design & Communication (Enmore, 2011) and a Certificate III in Arts (Graphic Design & Desktop Publishing, CATC, 2008). Huw is passionate about helping people to get ahead in life as well as business.
Our organisation is based in Australia and we employ Australian staff. We think it’s important to work locally – to support local business and also to improve communication and understandings.
