We work with Armrock to present their business to prospective clients in an ongoing collaboration which involves website design and progressive SEO-driven content creation. This includes auxiliary tasks, such as Google Workspaces setup and graphic design work.

Brief: Website design & development with integrated donation mechanism, fliers, pamphlets, and 25 pyramid donation table centres.

Rise2 is a different and innovative service within the existing DFV (Domestic Family Violence) emergency accommodation services in the Sunshine Coast region. Rise2 is fundraising towards the goal of creating 8 new dwellings that will provide safe, secure, homes with ongoing counselling and support. They are seeking to raise $450,000 in capital to complete the project.  $120,000 is also required for ongoing support and counselling of families and children.

Integrated Aspects

In this project, we worked against a 1-week deadline to deliver a WordPress website with an integrated donation capability, fliers, and 25 table centre pyramids with QR codes linked to online donations. This was delivered on schedule, enabling Rise2 Foundation’s launch at Cricks Volkswagen Sunshine Coast for the Sunshine Coast’s Biggest Car Wash, with breakfast and live broadcast by 92.7 MIX FM including free morning tea, cup cakes and platters by EATS – Meals that Matter. Integrated website design solutions is our speciality – bringing together all of the components necessary to bring a project into reality.

Brief: Design & develop a membership software solution meeting key criteria, and manage the migration from the existing WordPress website.

This collaboration with Coast2Bay Housing Group, Sundale & Purpose Partners had the goal of advancing the Better Together Housing website to a fully-fledged membership website, creating a safe space for women over 55 years old to meet and source housing solutions from within their own membership community.

As new members join the site, we hope this initiative will make an impact into the issue of homelessness for this cohort and improve the lives of members for the better.

Integrated Aspects

In any project, our integrated website design solutions provide a pathway to move from the unknown into the known, and find a place where brand and functionality can arrive to deliver the business. This was an extensive project with multiple stages. Although we initially looked at a WordPress solution, it became apparent a more comprehensive integrated software would be the answer. It involved a rationalisation of brief, software vetting, design, development, migration, launch, research, graphic design, process planning, budget management, collaboration, problem-solving and communication.

Website Design Solution

Website designs are a combination of style and functionality. Since the Better Together Housing brand was already established, the focus for this project was in 4 parts:

  1. Clarifying the specific needs of the project
  2. Locating suitable software to deliver the platform
  3. Collaborative web design & configuration
  4. Migration and launch of the new website.

We delivered a solution built on the Toucan Tech platform, and included a public-facing website with a private members area in which participants can communicate with each other and search for a solution to suit their housing needs. There is also a comprehensive member management capability and CRM inclusion, creating a holistic, intrinsically design software aligned to BTH needs. Supported and planned, Better Together Housing is now ready to evolve into the future.

Key Project Points

This project required a degree of exploration to develop shared understandings of requirements and to locate a suitably capable provider to develop the platform with. This stage, which we call ‘brief rationalisation’ is an essential part of all of our projects.

Identity

The Collective Change identity is about perpetual motion, engagement, collaboration, and finding unity and direction in robustly challenging environments. These ideas are expressed in the shape and colour of this identity, which is very much in keeping with the style of design we favour at Wrasse Industries: flat, simple and icon expressions of intention.

Business Cards

The Collective Change Business cards are printed in 90 x 54mm on a matt cello glaze stock. In addition to the logo, we used the website “footprints of change” graphic as a background for visual interest.

Our philosophy of Integrated Website Design Solutions recognised that there is more to a website than just a website. This project also involved domain configuration, Gmail configuration, and 250 business cards to get things up and running.

Based in Noosaville on the northern end of the Sunshine Coast, Paul Matters Electrical was a local institution with a story going back to 1973. When this business was taken over by new owners, we assisted with their rebrand, launching the new business in July 2020.

Noosa Electric Co is now going from strength to strength as a provider of excellent service with a customer-centric focus.

Naming the Business

Coming up with a viable business name requires a process, the success of which creates the foundation for the entire business. We arrived at Noosa Electric Co after a multi-dimensional review, and then organised the acquisition & configuration of relevant domain names.

Logo & Brand Design

Noosa Electric Co’s logo refers to the primary services offered, references the history of the business, and also establishes a vision for the business into the future. We retained aspects of the old brand and upgraded the typography, delivering the new logo in a modern sans-serif font for a clean, fresh look.

Uniform Designs

Professional presentation is important, particularly when work takes staff into the homes and businesses of customers and clients. Whether in the office or out on the road, The Noosa Electric Co team is always looking the part in their branded shirts, caps & jackets. Because Noosa Electric Co is located amongst 3 microbreweries, sometimes staff are fortunate to enjoy a beer after work on a Friday (in case you were wondering why this picture features a selection of beer!)

The website part of this project included migrating the old WordPress website to a newly branded WordPress website under a new domain, on a new server & facilitating the SEO transfer. This went smoothly and the website was launched on time and ready to support the rebrand. With an SEO-driven approach, the new website is an important component of the business marketing strategy.
